Permits Required to Operate an Evaporator

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to obtain necessary Governmental approval to operate a evaporator at the local it is required.

Units are operating successfully from Canada to Florida and in most States and Provinces and in all most all cases the units are treated in the same way as irrigation sprinklers.

We suggest you have your environmental department confirm with the proper EPA or Environmental authorities in your jurisdiction, what paperwork and permitting will be required to operate.

If you operate a lined pond due to environmental licensing, common sense dictates that you will not be allowed to have solution fall outside the liner and this may require a policy on shutdown of the unit or units at predetermined wind speeds.  This can be done either manually or with computer assisted weather stations.

A unit may not be returned for full refund because your organization failed to obtain proper licensing to operate, however we would work with you to either obtain licensing by providing information on other projects which you could utilize to get licensing or if the unit is unused, a restocking fee may be negotiated.

In Canada, to this date, no licensing has been required; the units have been treated as an irrigation system. In the USA units have been licensed in Arizona, Florida, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, South Dakotas, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Texas and Washington State.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) of South Dakota actually purchased two machines to solve a problem at a mine site.  Environmental agencies generally welcome a solution to outstanding problems, this piece of equipment is a benefit to the environment, and even the public has generally accepted that.
