Basic Model Evaporator

Summary of standard features for all versions as outlined in this booklet:

  1. Electric motor is a high efficiency hostile duty 3-phase motor that is modified to our specifications to with stand an extremely wet and hostile environment.
  2. A 30-inch axial flow turbine manufactured on our patent, by Slimline Manufacturing Ltd is built of 304 type stainless steel and has a powder coated aluminum 30 inch fan.
  3. Stainless steel nozzle ring with 30 nozzle positions is manufactured by Slimline and supplied with each unit, the choice of nozzles materials is optional, and the standard on all versions is Teflon.
  4. The motor mount base is designed for easy alignment and adjustment of the electric motor should removal for maintenance be necessary.  Each version has the identical 360-degree rotation ability, which can be easily accomplished by one person by pulling one pin.
  5. The multi positional wind tunnel is made of type 304 stainless steel and has an upper and lower safety bracket installed to allow one person to rotate the tunnel safely in field conditions
  6. Switch gear starter motor for evaporator motor.

Four options to consider on the Basic model:

  1. Choice of legs, either barge style (standard) or shore legs for rocky sloping terrain.
  2. Choice of nozzles, Teflon spiral jet nozzles are standard but stainless steel disc and core are available, we find the Teflon spiral jet nozzle gives a better evaporation rate and will withstand more severe conditions and for 98% of situations we have encountered to date, are the superior choice.
  3. The actual voltage of the 40-horse electric motor, the standard in the USA is 480 volts 60 hz, and Canada is 575 Volt 60 hz.  For international destinations a 50 hz 230 or 440 volt is available.
  4. The standard finish is a scotchkote 134, a 3m corporation high quality powder coat that is baked on at 350 degrees, this finish will withstand ph extremes in both directions (2 – 11 so far)

If a customer is merely evaporating straight water, a epoxy paint could be substituted for the powder coat finish at a substantial savings, we only recommend this in light duty applications. Please discuss this with us if you feel your situation may qualify.
